Personal Summary: I have worked within the field of Recreation in a variety of areas throughout my 15 year career. I started out in long term care as an Activity Director. I have also worked at two different Special Recreation Associations, at WSSRA, I served as Day Camp Coordinator and Staff Support Coordinator. At FVSRA, I served as Superintendent of Recreation. In addtion, I served in a variety of capactities at the Schaumburg Park District. I worked with the Communications and Marketing and Corporate Recreation Departments as the Special Projects Assistant and the Business Department as the Accountant/System Administrator. I currently serve as the Professional Services Director at IPRA, and as a result, have the opportunity to work with all of the members of IPRA in regards to membership, certification, BMW Championship Golf Tournament and serving as liaison to each of the sections. I have truly enjoyed having the opportunity to supervise staff that are new to the field and interns. I enjoy helping each individual find their special area of focus and helping them develop their skills. In addition, I truly enjoy spending time with my family and being involved with church and civic activities in my hometown of Bolingbrook. I occassionally have the opportunity to watch the Daily Show and play a game of golf every once in a while.
